Grindr

I have worked at Grindr as a User Researcher. While I was in Grindr, I worked on several products including Ads review (app was getting bad reviews because of its ads), Grindr Web (like what's app web), Kinder- Grindr (discrimination and violence in the app). But one of them named "Grindr Lite" was my capstone project. On which I worked from start to finish. Grindr Lite is a lite (stripped down) version (android app) of Grindr Legacy app- which was mainly under development for underserved countries (Southeast Asia, Africa) where many of Grindr users use low-end devices and come across poor internet connectivity. This product is similar to Facebook lite or Google's next billion users.

During my research study for Grindr Lite, I performed research in 3 phases- Desk research, Survey (quantitative study), and User interviews (qualitative study) which include user interview discussion guide, and a report of the qualitative study of total 8 participants. I have work samples of the work I have completed at Grindr and would be happy to walk anyone through it on a video call to give an overview of my work.
